There are many benefits to chartering your church with the Assemblies of God, including an A/G account number, which allows your church to both receive donations and give to missions. Another benefit is that you will not have to obtain your own 501C-3 but you’re automatically under the AG umbrella and can receive tax-exempt status. You can also receive exclusive discounts from places like Staples and Home Depot. In order to charter your church, you will have to complete a church charter form.
