General Council Affiliated Church, A sovereign entity that works under the ecclesiastical covering of the General Council of the Assemblies of God and recognizes the authority of the district in credentialing and intervention, among other areas, as outlined in the district bylaws. District Affiliated Church, district affiliation is for churches that are in a level of District Intervention, need district oversight (e.g. board, financial), or have reduced membership (under 20 members). To start this process, please reach out to your District/Network.
Parent Affiliated Church, A PAC is an outreach of an existing church resulting in a worshiping community with a congregation life distinct from the Parent Church (PC). A Parent Affiliated relationship can be of unlimited duration, or for a temporary period.
